GOP's last gasp?

Is Sarah Palin as conservative as conservatives and leftists think she is?

I don't know. I do know that she has excited a dying political party and has infused new life into it with her personality. If she is a serious contender for the 2012 Presidency the conservative base will likely come together to support her.

Why? Because the so-called "moderate" Republicans and those who have been drinking the water inside the beltway too long are solidly against her. That is really all the conservatives need to know, who are the enemies? If the media likes a Republican its almost a certainty that he/she is not a true conservative.

Whether Palin does radio commentaries, holds a series of rallies across the country, helps to create a party-within-the-party or tries to run some sort of conventional campaign she is already the top story for conservatives and the leftists alike. They tried to say she was done when she resigned as Governor but by giving her so much coverage they have confirmed her as a political movement to watch.
