Defining Dunces Down

Now that the US is closing down the terror prison it built at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba it has dawned on Defense Secretary Gates that the US might need a place to put terrorists, until Obama can drop all charges, pardon them, give them welfare and free houses and all that. He complains that he fully expects all 535 members of Congress to say "Not in my backyard".

I would suggest an existing facility in the Carrib... oh who are these idiots kidding??

Now that Barack Obama has defied all decency and common sense, and truth telling on national TV, whats next?

What I mean by that is this... If you take billions of dollars in private investments and simply have the federal government take it and give it to the UAW, what effect do you think thats going to have on the private investment markets? Is anyone going to invest in something the government might want to take ovcer?

Who will invest in banks, insurance companies, healthcare companies, energy companies if it looks like their investment might be nationalized by El Presidente Obama? What rational person would now invest millions or billions in any of them? How hard will this hit the economy?

Oh and one of the ways they will punish Ford, just think that most of their employees are now part-owners of UAW Motors, a competitor. How interesting!

Lord of the Lies

Does anyone think Chrysler will get anything like a normal bankruptcy? Of course not, it will be guided and controlled by politicians for the benefit of the UAW. The UAW will end up owning the corporation and taxpayers will end up paying for this. The taxpayers will end up paying Chrysler UAW welfare for at least the next 4 years.

Remember in ATLAS SHRUGS the story of the motor company where they decided to act as a commune? Everything collapsed and it became dog-eat-dog? Like maybe the Lord of the Flies? I think that is the future of Chrysler.

Big Business on the dole

You will find that many large corporations are now enjoying the notion of getting something for nothing. Corporate welfare, funded by you, without having to produce products or sell them or caring about customer satisfaction. As long as "their man" in Washington has "pull" then who cares about that old marketplace?

When money comes from Washington instead of customers then Corporations will no longer care what customers think, only the bigwigs in DC will matter to them. A trillion here and a trillion there, what does it matter? Its only going to hurt regular normal people ... and nobody but nobody in the ivory towers would ever deign to care about them.

Senator Jim DeMint wrote that every member of Congress who voted with the US Chamber of Commerce 70% of the time were given the "Spirit of Enterprise" award, except 4 Republicans. Those members happen to be the ones who voted against the bailouts and the "stimulus" bill, and who are the most conservative members of the Senate.

The big business crowd is not supportive of the "far right" in the least, lets throw away those tired rhetorical attacks and go with the flow. The Democrats can now proudly proclaim to be the party of Wall Street and the super-wealthy.

Because as long as the Democrats and liberal Republicans are willing to give your money to big business, they are indeed the party of the rich and of big business.

When 747's attack

I find it hilarious that Barack Obama is passing the buck again, throwing someone else under the bus for terrorizing NYers yesterday. This man never accepts responsibility for what his administration does, and the media never calls him on it. The sycophantic press in this country never even considers actually being impartial and objective.

Just read Newsbusters or any other media watchdog site. How did the LA Times cover the leak that waterboarding saved their own city from a terror attack?

They didn't mention it. Instead they ran an article saying it was unclear whether any useful information came from the practice. Thats the kind of media we do not need in this country, we need media that reports facts even if they don't like them.

9-11 all over again?

In the early morning hours today New Yorkers were again terrorized by the sight of a low flying 747 being chased by F-16 fighters. Buildings were evacuated as alarm spread across Manhatten and everyone wondered if it were happening again. Another terror attack in NYC?

Nope. Just a photo-op from the President who bows to Muslim Kings and mocks the Bible. I don't know why anyone would pull a stunt like that and then claim ignorance. Were they filming a campaign commercial? There should be an investigation in what was going on here. For all we know it was a dry run for a 9-11 type attack by our own Muslim-in-Chief.

Rep. John Dingell (D) says that nobody realizes that Cap N Trade is a tax.

Yes we do, we who did not blindly follow the HopeyChangey Pied Piper. This tax will hurt the middle class and those on fixed income. What do you think its impact on the poor will be?
Some estimates say the cost for the average family will be $1700 per year in higher energy costs, while this doesn't even calculate the higher prices of food and everything else.

I hope Obama sycophants get a clue soon.
