Top tax writer House member Charlie Rangel has made contributions to the members of the House Ethics Committee that is supposed to investigate him. You know that million-dollar home and millions in transactions he failed to report. The tax man is a tax cheat!

You know...

I used to love newspapers. Not the leftwing bias but the medium of the printed paper. It is the leftwing press that has killed it more than the internet. TV did not kill radio, radio did not kill daily papers, cable did not kill the broadcast channels (not yet)... so newspapers in some form would survive.

But not when they are so biased that most Americans don't care to buy one or pick it up if its free. Having a conservative op-ed page isn't enough, Orange County Register, when the rest of the pages are filled with drivel from the AP, NY Times and Washington Post.

Things could have been better.

A group of British doctors say that patients are routinely allowed to die and some of them might not have been terminal. This is reported in a UK newspaper.

Do we really want this in America?

Media Bias? Of course

Congressman Charlie Rangel runs the House Ways & Means Committee, making him the top writer of tax law in America. You would think the idea that the top tax law writer in the US hiding and lying about his assets to avoid paying taxes would be a major news story right? You would think this is the biggest and juiciest scandal since the House Bank Fiasco wouldn't you?

The media has decided its not nearly as important as a college thesis that was written 20 years ago. Imagine that.

Google News turned up around 92 articles that mention the Rangel tax scandal even in passing. While the non-scandal of Virginia Gov Candidate McDonnel returns 398 articles.
And those are from real media outlets not just the smaller websites and niche media that are talking about Rangel.

We all know the media is biased but you would think they would cover such rank and gross hypocrisy more than a nothing story like the thesis.

Public Option or not....

Does anyone really think the healthcare bill will be better without the 'Public Option'? Please do not be so easily fooled. There are still a LOT of bad things in the bill, inlcuding the "individual mandate" which would FORCE everyone to buy health insurance.

Not illegal aliens of course, they are exempt from paying for their free healthcare. That's what they want you to pay for.
